The Education Center at the Watson Institute is a recipient of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding which is being distributed during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.
These funds will help the Education Center provide critical support for children with complex needs. The funds are being used to purchase improvements to our HVAC systems that provide safe airflow in our buildings. The funds are also allowing us to purchase new technology for both student and staff use, as well as training for staff, students, and families in the use of the new technology and programs.
Additionally, this funding aided us in maintaining protective precautions for the ongoing safety of our schools.
