The Watson Institute Friendship Academy is a recipient of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding which is being distributed during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.
The ESSER funds will help Friendship Academy provide critical support for children with complex learning needs. The funds are being used to purchase new technology for both student and staff use, as well as training for staff, students, and families in the use of new technology and programs.
Additionally, this funding aided us in maintaining protective precautions for the ongoing safety of our schools.
