Each year, Watson invites professionals and educators touched by children with autism spectrum disorder to attend the TEACCH Autism program training at the Watson Institute’s Sewickley, PA campus. TEACCH training is a week-long seminar, offered by the Watson Institute in collaboration with staff from Division TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication-Related Handicapped Children), University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The sessions include lectures, small group discussions, and experience in a demonstration classroom working with children with autism and are held at the Watson Institute in late summer.
This year’s TEACCH training will be held on August 5 – 9, 2024 at the Watson Institute.
