Watson Institute educational consultants have compiled this list of behavior support resources for educators and caregivers of children with special needs. On this page you’ll find links to websites with social story templates, printable behavior charts, and interventions.

Carol Gray Social Stories – information provided to teach about Social Stories by the creator, Carol Gray.

National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI) – this site offers evidence-based practices in a myriad of formats including articles, booklets, handouts, workshops, and tools with ready-made visuals for families and educators.

Lynne Namka – Talk, Trust and Feel Therapeutics; provides lessons, visuals, and resource articles for all ages on topics such as anger management, abandonment, relationships, and more.

ABA Educational Resources – provides free downloadable materials including thematic token cards, activity schedule boards, picture symbols for restaurants, story books, picture cards for drills, and data forms.

Free Printable Behavior Charts – free behavior charts covering a variety of topics for children in preschool to fifth grade.

Internet4Classrooms – character education resources; printables for students, lessons for teachers, activities with videos, articles, and “how-tos” on topics such as anger management, bullying, and conflict resolution.

Lives in the Balance – for teachers and caregivers to teach about behavior challenges, strategies, interventions, and resources.

Behavior Contract & Behavior Monitoring Tools – article about utilizing behavior contracts and monitoring tools for children/students.

Intervention Central – Response to Intervention (RTI) site; academic and behavior interventions with featured tools; generate reinforcement lists, math worksheets, behavior materials, lists, and more. Training articles provided.
