Resources for Parents and Professionals

Learn more about Watson! Watch Watson's informational video!

The Watson Institute strives to provide information and resources for parents and professionals.

From general information regarding autism for parents, to a comprehensive community resource guide that provides listings of services available and service providers throughout the area, Watson offers a single source for information.

A general glossary of terms related to special needs and special education is also available as well as books, articles and other resources of timely information.

Our online discussion boards and chat rooms facilitate communications between parents as well as professionals. Teacher Resources provide instruction, helpful tips and forms for those in special education classrooms.

Watson also provides information on upcoming seminars and events, not only at Watson, but throughout the community so that parents and professionals can stay on top of current issues in the areas of autism, special education as well as developmental delays and neurological impairments.

Finally, The Watson Institute’s Getting Services section takes you to Watson's Intake form for services.

Because we want to provide as much information as possible, if you would like additional information to be included for parents or professionals, please contact (412) 749-2851 or via email: sharib@thewatsoninstitute.org.
