As students with exceptionalities approach graduation-age they may have questions about employment or need guidance on how to act appropriately while at work.
Preparing your students for certain situations and setting expectations of appropriate behaviors can be accomplished with the aid of social or behavior stories. Social stories can be fully customized to fit whatever circumstance your student is facing.
For students with special needs, preparation for life after graduation begins in their early teens. Your school may provide Community-Based Instruction or Vocational Experiences in which they learn job-related skills and develop independence.
