Services for Your Child and Family
Learn more about Watson! Watch Watson's informational video! The Watson Institute provides a variety of services for your child as well as your family. Because early diagnosis and intervention is crucial, Watson’s Psychological Services professionals offer diagnostic and follow-up evaluations. If a diagnosis is made suggesting additional treatment and services, a wraparound program is available, as well as outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and families and medication management . In addition to clinical services, The Watson Institute offers respite through its CareBreak and Day and Overnight Respite camps. Watson provides summer programs: (STAT) Summer Therapeutic Activities for Teens with autism ages 13-21, (WISP) Watson Institute Summer Program for children with autism ages 3-15 at various summer camps in Western PA, (ACCLAIM) Autism College and Community Life Acclimation and Intervention Model program for high school juniors and seniors who plan to attend college, and (SCALE) Social and Community Activities for Life Experiences for adolescents in their transition years who are currently in autistic support and life skills classrooms in their school districts. Our new program, College Autism/Asperger Matriculate Program for Undergraduate students CAMPUS, is designed to provide ongoing support during the academic year to individuals with an autism spectrum disorder who have been admitted to college. Our Social Skills therapy groups provide support to parents and siblings of children with special needs through The Education Center at The Watson Institute. |
