An additional component of Craig Academy's Education Program is the provision of special services. Some of these services are available to all students, while others are required only by students with a demonstrated need.
Health Services:
A pediatrician and the school nurses provide for the general health needs of all students across the program in the Wellness Center. Medication administration and monitoring are provided by nurses and psychiatrists.
Psychological Services:
The school psychologist provides ongoing evaluation of each student's academic and social functioning.
Specialized Reading Instruction:
Certified reading specialists provide extra support to students in need.
Speech Therapy and Language Development:
A speech and language clinician provides evaluation and treatment for students in order to increase the receptive and expressive language skills necessary for effective communication.
