This is the 2nd publication from The Watson Institute illustrating materials for students with autism.  Materials and Routines that promote interaction between students is the focus for this booklet.  "Don't Just Act...Interact" includes four sections highlighting: 

  1. Materials that teach interaction;
  2. Visual cues that promote interactions;
  3. Accessibility of classroom materials & routines;
  4. Fun materials.

Each section includes age ranges, skills, materials, preparation & procedures with adaptations for younger and older children.  Social Skill Posters, Clipboard Surveys, and Early Education Social Books are included.  Photo samples make using this booklet enjoyable and easy.  Simply print the order form below.
