Watson CareBreak Volunteer Receives Presidential Volunteer Service Award
News Date: March 24, 2006 The Watson Institute is thrilled to announce that Watson CareBreak volunteer Edith "Edy" Hope (Cranberry Township) has received the President's Volunteer Service Award. President Bush presented the award to Edy on Friday, March 24th, during a visit to the Pittsburgh area. "We couldn't be happier for Edy. Volunteering is what America is all about," said Raymond B. White, Watson's CEO. Before meeting the President when he arrived at Pittsburgh International, Edy was honored at the Watson Institute's Sewickley campus, receiving a congratulatory certificate and many thanks for her dedication to CareBreak as well as her CareBreak family.
